Archmage Update: Initial Support for New Rulesets
Greetings, Battle Mages!
We're excited to announce that Archmage has successfully implemented initial support for the new Splinterlands rulesets. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that you can continue to participate in battles with these new challenges.
What's New
We've added base support for the following new rulesets:
- Heavy Metal: Only armored units can be summoned.
- Might Makes Right: Only units with 3 or more ranged, magic, or melee power can be summoned.
- Need for Speed: Only units with 3 or more speed can be summoned.
- Deflection Field: All units have the Reflection Shield ability.
- Beefcakes: Only units with 5 or more health can be summoned.
Key Points to Note
Service Resumed: After a brief pause to implement these changes, Archmage is now back online and ready to tackle these new rulesets.
Minimizing Surrenders: Our primary goal with this update is to minimize surrenders when encountering these new rulesets, ensuring you can participate in more battles and earn more rewards.
Initial Support: This release provides foundational support for these rulesets. As with any new feature, it will take time to accumulate adequate data and optimize performance.
Continuous Improvement: We expect the performance in these new rulesets to improve over time as we gather more battle data and refine our algorithms.
Potential Quirks: In these early stages, you might notice some unexpected card choices. Rest assured, we're monitoring these instances and will be making adjustments.
What to Expect
- Mixed Results: Initially, you may experience mixed results in these new rulesets. This is normal as our system learns and adapts.
- Data Collection: Each battle played contributes valuable data that helps us improve. Your participation is crucial in this process.
- Ongoing Updates: We'll be closely monitoring performance and making regular adjustments to enhance your win rates.
Your Feedback Matters
As always, your feedback is invaluable to us. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on our Discord.
We're excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to make Archmage even better.
Stay tuned for more updates, and may the odds be ever in your favor on the battlefield!
