Far from the Madding Crowd

I stood in a crowded bus not able to move as there was hardly any space. It was hot and sweaty but the ticket sellers was still asking more people to get in.
It is so much like life where people want to push and ask you to make way I thought.
Then I saw out of the window and saw a bit of the sky and a glimpse of the Sun.
It made me wonder why should I be governed by others?
Instead It matters not where I am and in what situation I am always free to unplug from the stress and the negativity that people through at you.

So I noted my thoughts in a few words with a pen on a sweaty paper that I clasped to much like we hold on to hope in a tough time

Far from the maddening crowds

Where the earth meets the sky
one can reach out and hold a cloud
in the hope to beat the blues
and fly away away from the Madding Crowd
