Monomad Challenge: Friendship
Hello everyone!
Today I'll be sharing this photo of two friends. These boys happened to be hawking cold water (or pure water as it is called in my country Nigeria) near the location we were to use for a shoot. Whilst the model got ready we decided to have some water and I took them some photos.
This photo would have been a great shot, if I didn't miss my focus due to the fact that I was shooting with a 50mm f/1.8 manual lens which is difficult to use causu getting the focus right with your eyes requires a great deal of precision. Eitherways, I didn't delete the photo, rather I decided to edit it as it is and come to accept its flaw.
The black and white edit and well as the high contrast and vignette did a great job at highlighting the subjects and keeping the focus on them. I'm satisfied with what I got not because of how it looks, but because of the emotion and story it conveys.
