The Tranquil Night Scene in Bireuen // Night Photography Competition - Round 02
Good evening to all my photography lovers in our beloved community, especially to all of you who love photography at night, and I hope you are all always healthy and happy so that you can carry out your daily activities smoothly and I hope you all have a pleasant day.
In this blog, I return to this beloved community to share some night photography. These images are part of my entry in the second round of the night photography competition held by @mshbd.
So, keep following my simple blog to see some of the images I took at night in Bireuen with my cell phone camera, along with a little story behind them.
A few days ago, I took the time to go to the nearest gas station to refuel my motorcycle. The current tensions between Iran and the United States have led to rising fuel prices, which has resulted in long lines at gas stations in my area during the day. Usually, government-subsidized fuel is available in the morning. This prompted me to fill up at night, taking a few photos to participate in a competition held within this beloved community.
My friends...
From my explanation above, behind this image of a somewhat deserted gas station, while it is very busy during the day, the night becomes a silent stage, with only a few lights and a few vehicles refueling. A place that is usually so busy, now at night, it is so peaceful.
After refueling my motorcycle, I hurried to Meuligo Street, which was so peaceful.
My friend...
The night in this area is not noisy. The city lights are bright but very soft, not too dazzling. The large shadows from the streetlights, coupled with the motorbikes passing slowly, make everything seem softer. This night taught me to pause for a moment to see the peaceful atmosphere in a city that is very busy during the day, as if the city is resting from the stress of the day.
The next image shows the Tugu Mini area, which is part of Bireuen City Park. On weekend evenings, the area is usually crowded with teenagers and local residents enjoying the city's nightlife.
The monument resembles a spotlight from below, with a golden, torch-like glow above it. Personally, I find this design very simple yet pleasing to the eye, a nod to the National Monument (Monas) in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
And here are some of the main images, which are right in the center of Bireuen, specifically at a four-way intersection, with its iconic monument standing right in the middle.
My friends...
For me, the night in Bireuen is not too noisy, which provides an extraordinary sense of tranquility.
This is what Bireuen looks like at night, the darkness is friendly, the lights guiding us home with their soft glow.
Finally, I also took a moment to take some photos while stopping at a place to buy a refreshing drink after getting a little tired from exploring this deserted city.
My friends...
Personally, the beauty of the night isn't about seeing a million stars, but sometimes the beauty lies in a city that's so busy during the day but so peaceful at night, with its distinctive atmosphere, with lights illuminating every corner. And that's how I felt in Bireuen, its welcoming darkness and soft light.
These are some of the nighttime photography images I'm sharing on this simple blog as my participation in a contest held within this beloved community. I hope you all enjoy and are entertained by what I share. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have taken the time to view and read my blog to the end.
Please leave your comments, support, and input, they mean a lot to me so I can create a better blog in the future. That's all for now.
Greetings everyone.
See you on my next blog.
