Old Floorboards

Just finished my floors in my 1865 farmhouse! So happy with how they turned out. Beautiful pine floorboards.

It's difficult to find the same tones on new hardwood flooring. This is because the trees would have been cut at 50 years rather than 10 years. This particular room had layers of paint and vinyl flooring. The wood was never exposed before preserving it in a unique way. See the wooden pegs that were used?
