Homemade Salted Chicken Eggs

My first ever homemade salted chicken eggs with cinnamon. Moderately satisfied with the end result of it! It smells and tastes delicious and since it is my first time making it, I am very happy with it! Just looking at the shiny reddish orange yolk makes my day ❤️❤️ Please pardon my bad cutting skills 😅

Homemade Salted Chicken Eggs
Ingredients:
•10 -12 eggs
•1.2 litre water
•250g -280g salt ( depending on your preferences of saltiness ) ~ I used about 250g ~
•2 cinnamon sticks
•2 star anise
•6 cloves
•1 tsp sugar

Procedure:
Put all the ingredients except the eggs into a pot with high heat and bring it to boil . Then turn to lower heat and simmer for 8 minutes until you can smell the fragrance of the spices. Turn off the heat and left it aside to cool down to room temperature (about 1 hour)

Arrange the eggs in a clean plastic or glass container. Pour in the brine . Use a ceramic condiment on top of the eggs to make sure the eggs are fully cover in the brine . Leave it aside at room temperature for 28 - 30 days. Done.

( * after 25 days you may take one out to try the saltiness.. if still not enough saltiness .. keep the other in the brine for few more days .. normally the taste good in between 25-30 days (mine I harvest half on 26 days and half on 28 days) 😊
