My first post here : How to collect tomato seeds 🍅

Hi there! I'm so exited to be part of this group! Here is my first post for you nature lovers .
Today I'll show you how to collect your own tomato seeds. This way you can become independent from the seed market and to have the seeds from the plant that already adapt to your ecosystem .You will have even better yield next year. Be gentle, nice and grateful when you interact with your seeds. They keep your positive energy in them. SO they are not only seeds , they are YOUR SEEDS :) Your future food. The food of your children and hopefully your grandchildren...
Here is what to do for your first DIY seed saving:

1. Find the best and very good ripen tomatoes from the plant. Pick them.
   

2. Than take out the seeds and put them in jar with the liquid around.

3. Cover the jar with a breathable cloth (to keep away the insects, old cotton t-shirt works great).
   

4. Wait 24-48 h ,to start little fermentation in the jars ,when they start to be smelly...it's time to rinse up the seeds and remove any little parts.
   

5. Spread the seeds in a flat plate . Wait for them to dry.
   

6. Put the dry seeds in boxes, jars or zip bags. Keep away from sunlight and outside factors (rats, insects..).I keep my seeds in paper, zip-lock bags and little jars - ALL in a big plastic box - very well closed.
