My First Time Trying Tiramisu Cake

Tiramisu cake has long been popular in my country, even though it's not originally from my country, of course. But I'd never tried it before.

Then, this time, I came across a random coffee shop after walking a few kilometers this morning. I pondered for a moment in front of the cafe bar where I ordered, as it was self-service.

The tiramisu caught my eye. After all, I'd already expended a lot of energy walking about 8 kilometers, so I couldn't go wrong with ordering tiramisu.

I ordered the tiramisu and asked the barista for their best-selling hot coffee recommendation. He recommended Cafe Late.

It turned out to be very busy. I'd done some research on the "The Hidden Swargi" coffee shop, and it turned out to be quite popular among the young people here.

I waited for my order to arrive. Then I enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere. The green scenery, with large trees, was like sitting under my own porch. Wow, a great feeling.

My order arrived. Oh, the tiramisu was beautiful. It was such a shame to eat it. Ehehe.

First, I took a spoonful of the tiramisu without the added cream sauce. I was shocked. It was so bitter! But even so, I enjoyed it. The ladyfingers were very soft but didn't fall apart when served layered with the cream.

Double combo with my hot cafe latte. It was completely bitter, but there was a hint of sweetness when I added the cream sauce to the tiramisu.

Guess if I ate it alone? Of course not. I made my husband eat the large portion 🤣
As for me, I probably won't order tiramisu again. Not because it wasn't delicious. It's just not my cup of tea.

I prefer classic cakes without too much cream, like banana cake and classic carrot cake. And, oh, wait, cinnamon rolls are also great with coffee.

The breeze here is nice. But you can choose indoor seating if you prefer solitude or while working on your laptop.

Today I explored a new flavor. It wasn't my cup of tea, but at least I'm no longer curious about what the flavor behind the beautiful tiramisu cake is like. 😊🌸❤️ what a lovely day
