Colors That Beautify Life
From my garden, I've learned a lot about life. About small journeys, as small as seeds, that eventually grow into large, lasting benefits.
Then, I've also learned about life's dark and bright times. Sorrow and joy. Many people think life is too cruel, all about sadness. But wait, is that really true?
When life really throws us curveballs, try pausing for a moment. In fact, it feels like people forget how to breathe. That's why in many meditations, breathing is the fundamental element.
Well, back to the colorful flowers in my garden. This truly makes me happy. Eventually, many flowers bloom.
Seeing these blooms takes time. Not a day or two. That's why when we feel like life isn't going the way we want, it's simply not the right time. It's not impossible.
Every flower has a different blooming time. So does our time as humans to shine.
I grow marigolds from seeds. I cut their shoots so they don't grow too tall, and then I plant those shoots.
I finally have a lot of marigold plants, especially from cuttings I took. They're very easy to grow.
African marigolds have large petals and no strong odor. Only their leaves have a strong odor.
In my garden, leaf miners often visit the marigolds. But they're a good distraction from the main plants, so my main plants stay protected from pests.
There's always something in the garden that makes me happy. Surprises that keep me feeling a spark of enthusiasm.
I have a new collection of tree roses. Usually, several varieties of roses are attached to a large rose tree as a support.
My previous collection of tree roses had small petals. Meanwhile, the new tree roses have large petals.
On one tree, it turns out there are two different varieties of roses. One has early-blooming, light brown petals that quickly overbloom.
The other is yellow, with large, full blooms that last a long time.
I'm truly overjoyed! This is the first time I've had a rose collection this beautiful! My heart melts every time I look at them.
I also have a bougainvillea collection. They just arrived in my garden a month ago, and I pruned them. Now they've sprouted a lot and are blooming beautifully.
It seems like Mr. Lizard is enjoying the beauty of my garden too 😊
Happy gardening!
