Which waste is more profitable to process?

It's no secret that recycling garbage is a profitable and long-term #business, and raw materials in the world today are an overabundance. In some countries, there is a particularly acute shortage of enterprises engaged in rational processing of materials that can #receive a #secondlife.

#Paper.
This type of raw material is the most malleable for processing due to its properties, so at present about 50% of all paper raw materials are sent for processing. Basically, the use of paper recyclable materials is aimed at the production of toilet paper or cardboard.
#Plastic.
Processing enterprises practice the use of plastic bottles for the production of flex cereals, and later the production of granules, for sale to enterprises manufacturing finished products at a more favorable price.
We can also process #glass, #rubber and #textiles, but in our opinion, the most promising direction is the processing of ash and slag wastes, which are formed as a result of burning coal, peat and their mixtures. Ash-and-slag #wastes appear as an independent type of waste from the production of electricity or heat, and as a result of work on the processing of other wastes.

The global production of #ashandslag is about 739 million tons per year. Such wastes contain a valuable part of the periodic table: silicon oxide, aluminum, iron, precious earth metals and so on. And one of the promising areas for processing ash and slag wastes is the extraction of useful and precious metals from them.
