Success
The best book … and the original book… written on personal success is the book The Law of Success, by Napoleon Hill in 1925. Time has passed, and our world has changed, but the lessons are timeless. There are seventeen lessons within fifteen chapters. The two that lack their own chapter are The Mastermind and The Universal Law.
Most people know this book as its successor Think and Grow Rich by Mr. Hill. It is a watered-down version of the original. Once you begin reading the original, you will see that this is a book worthy of being called the greatest book on personal success in history.
Mr. Hill tells the ‘dear reader’ to treat the book as a course on success. And in that vein, he provides assignments in each chapter. I confess, I can become a better student of this course. But I remind myself that life is a journey, not a destination; and I keep pressing forward.
