Hairstyle textile doll

When we have another chrysalis, the question inevitably arises of what kind of hair she will have, what hairstyle will be. It's no secret that the hairstyle should “go” to our girl, be in her style, and emphasize the image being created.
In the case of the Miracle, it was necessary to do something not quite ordinary, since our baby is not quite ordinary.

I present to you the 10,000-first version of a fancy hairstyle for a textile doll.

We will need:

yarn
ruler
book of suitable size
centimeter
scissors
needles, threads of a suitable color.
Take measurements. We need to know the volume of the head and the length of the parting.

We outline the line of hair attachment around the face. Make a basting with threads or draw with a disappearing pencil.

We measure the distance from the ear to the eye. There will be a bang. We wind the threads on a ruler, cut on one side and sew the strands (about 6 cm) on a sheet of paper in the center of the strands ...

We measure the distance from the forehead to the crown, multiply by 3 and, having wound the threads on a book of the right size .... doing the same thing.

I sew with a knit stitch. It gives a double line and holds the "hair" securely. You can also secure PVA for insurance.

Now, having folded the “hair” in one direction, and the sheet of paper in the other, carefully tear off, remove the paper.

Here's what we got:

Spreading the strands in different directions, we put the bangs along the forehead and sew them with threads in the color of the hair.

We put long strands on, sew around the entire head.

The upper part of the hair is collected at the crown of the tail. Firm-fix.

We measure the distance from the forehead to the ponytail and from the ponytail to the hairline on the back of the head. We make two more hair strips.

Sew one part from the bangs to the tail, the second to the back of the head.

One half of the hair, so as not to interfere or get confused, is temporarily collected in a regular ponytail.

Over the hook from the part of the hair we braid three pigtails and lay them in the direction to the place where there will be another tail.

We do the same on the occipital part. We fix the braids with threads, tie the tail.

Repeat the procedure on the second half of the head. Trim the ponytails.
