Hola, mis Hivers,

Lamento informarles que, a escasos días de su realización, nos han comunicado la cancelación del evento HIVE CUBA por motivos de fuerza mayor. Esta decisión escapa completamente del control de los organizadores, quienes habían trabajado con toda la ilusión y esfuerzo para hacerlo posible.

Como es natural, este hecho ha generado mucha conversación dentro de la comunidad, y las especulaciones apuntan a desacuerdos y a la censura por parte del gobierno cubano.

En mi opinión, si los mandos del país han decidido bloquear este evento, es precisamente porque reconocen el enorme potencial que tienen las criptomonedas y la tecnología blockchain. Como siempre, temen que nos expandamos, que más personas obtengan conocimientos financieros y que ganemos autonomía. Saben que el conocimiento es poder, y por eso intentan limitarlo.

A pesar de este revés, no podemos dejar que esto nos desanime. Todo lo contrario, debe motivarnos a seguir aprendiendo, construyendo y compartiendo conocimiento de manera aún más determinada. La comunidad es fuerte y seguirá adelante.

I am sorry to inform you that, just days before it was to take place, we have been notified of the cancellation of the HIVE CUBA event due to reasons of "force majeure". This decision is completely out of the hands of the organizers, who had worked with great enthusiasm and effort to make it happen.

In my opinion, if the country's leadership has decided to block this event, it is precisely because they recognize the enormous potential of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
