Utila
Last year, I was in Utila. One of the Bay Islands in Honduras.
I went with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised! This tiny island has a lot to offer.
From Grand Cayman, we flew direct to La Ceiba. Got a taxi to the ferry and this is the ferry ride.

Our tuktuk. They were everywhere and always available. Walking everywhere is also ideal.

Flew from Utila direct to La Ceiba airport. 6-seater plane. Fun ride.
Utila has a unique charm. Life is simple.
One thing I have to mention is that there are a lot of expats. Some are running their own businesses. Ideal place for backpackers. You feel incredibly close to nature.
I would love to come back.
