Cerezas/ Cherries. (ESP/ENG)
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day, a while ago I saw a photo taken from my mom's phone of her holding some cuban cherries and leaves in her hand, I really liked it so much that I wanted to draw a picture of it. This was the result:
Talking a bit about the drawing process, it was really quite simple because a good part of it was drawing over the image. So, I began by drawing the most essential features of the hands and fruits using a brush that could resemble the texture of physical brush paintings. Although I had the image available in the background, I took liberties to add or remove details so that, in my opinion, it would look more beautiful.
Then, to cover the blank spaces, I added a solid color layer for the hands and another for the cherries below the one made in the first step.
Finally I made the background of the drawing; however, after spending a long time thinking, unlike the photo, I made a cobbled floor with various colors to give the drawing a little more life, also, I drew some stones, varying the color a little so the background wouldn't be so flat. Also I added a upper layer with shadows of plants and branches to simulate a garden.
Honestly, I loved the final result after making the background, and since I had no hope for it, I was also surprised.
And that's it, this is it, I hope you liked the post and, more importantly, the drawing. Have a nice day <3
