Hello! :D

Here I am again, with another set of letters...
part of the Typographic Experiments I've been working on.

Now it's time for the G.
This time I didn't have an specific concept in mind, I just thought "let's play with the lines and see what happens..." and the images above are the result.

The letter G is in general quite simple, the "arm" which is the horizontal line in the middle of the shape, must remain intact or at least be suggested in order to keep it legible, from that point one can play with the rest of the shape... add new elements, textures, patterns etc...

Most of the letters I've made at this point are capitals so I decided to maintain that criteria and the usual presence of lines. I never plan a color scheme for these designs it really depends on how the composition looks at the end and then I just intuitively choose a color or two, part of the idea is to limit the chromatic information so the structures can can be easily perceived. The color choice for today was yellow (:

The final touch was a little bit of texture so the vectors didn't look too raw or cold, I wanted that feeling from old school printed material even though they're fully digital.

Thats's all for today folks ☺︎
See you soon with more types, lines and shapes!

Thanks for reading!
