Meanwhile Back At The Ranch: Moving and Sorting
The Temps have been well below normal but We had 2 beautiful days Friday and Saturday. We tried to use those days as best we could.
We built some wind break near the front of the barns.
We separated and moved the Bulls to there winter home.
And we also separated the calves. We are fence line weening them.
We also have a heifer that was bred late. We thought she was going to be a dry heifer so it is a nice surprise but we will have to watch her close since she will be having her calf in the middle of winter.
She is the red one in this picture. We know her as Lil red .
We have moved her up near the barn.
Then after all that moving and siting we still had time for a little target shooting before sunset.
I had already shared a sneak preview of the sunset but here is another shot.
It was an amazing couple days out here at the ranch.
It was back to extreme cold and snow by Sunday morning.
Thanks for following our journey!
