Meanwhile Back at the Ranch: Cleanup day

We are cleaning up around the area where we want to build a small corral. Winter has already been rearing it’s ugly head and we need to work the calves before it gets too much later in the year.

We had lots of help.
The animals are doing quite well. There is lots of grazing left. If we cN keep the snow away for awhile.

Pigs are doing good too. First batch of piglets is do in about three weeks.


If we can manage to graze till the end of December our hay supply should get us thru the winter. It is all small squares which is pretty labor intensive but it’s hay.
