TEZOS : THE $230 million ICO FROM 2017

Overview

A new decentralized blockchain platform for smart contracts and decentralized applications. Tezos uses technology that is based on mathematics and science. The Tezos infrastructure was designed meant to be able to evolve and implement new innovations smoothly over time. This project aims to be sustainable and to bring to the market the coin of the future.

Who is behind Tezos?

Arthur Breitman and Kathleen Breitman. He studied applied mathematics, and she previosuly worked for the Bridgewater Associates Hedge Fund and R3, which is a software company that focuses on decentralized data.

Before becoming an ICO this project was running out of money, and then they decided that thought an ICO they could receive the funding they needed. After de crowd sale, there was a delay in getting the tokens to the investors. This delay had to do with some internal issues between Breitman and Gevers (the president of Tezos foundation at the moment). Tezos became an infamous ICO at that moment.

Regarding the betanet they have adviced their investors to take precautions because they will not be responsible for any loss of tokens since it is still a beta test network and not their mainnet. On the other hand, some important excnages have made this token available which is positive for Tezos.

This project seems very promising, however it has hit a few obstacles on the way. If you are invested on this project you should follow it closely. On the contrary, you could wait til' their mainnet launch approaches to invest. Remember this is not financial advice.
