Artistic makeup: Butterfly

Hacer maquillajes artísticos llama mucho mi atención, porque permite dejar que la creatividad haga su magia. En esta oportunidad la inspiración fue tomada de las mariposas, seres llenos de colores, dinamismo e imperceptible por su ligereza.

Doing artistic make-up calls my attention, because it allows me to let my creativity work its magic. This time the inspiration was taken from butterflies, beings full of colors, dynamism and imperceptible by their lightness.

Proceso || Process

Inicié el maquillaje aplicando base de maquillaje en todo el rostro. Seguidamente con un lápiz de ojos negro dibujé la forma que tendrían las alas de mariposa en cada lado de la cara, respectivamente. Y empecé a maquillar con sombras fucsia y morado para el contornear cada una de las celdas y el parpado superior del ojo, también azul celeste para las celdas cercanas al margen externo del ala y azul cobalto para contornearla.

I started the makeup by applying foundation all over the face. Then with a black eye pencil I drew the shape of the butterfly wings on each side of the face, respectively. And I started to make up with fuchsia and purple shadows to outline each of the cells and the upper eyelid of the eye, also light blue for the cells near the outer margin of the wing and cobalt blue to outline it.
