𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉.. 𝑴𝒚 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆

Growing up as a child, my parents ensured that weekends were for bonding and unwinding after the week's struggle.

We most times visited a very beautiful garden, sometimes the beach or even parks. It gradually became a thing for me to unwind once in a while even now I'm grown.

I find out, that I'm happier when I visit the beach, the golden sunray, the waves of the sea, the breeze, and everything around the beach brings me unending pleasure.

I think I've visited several beaches more than anywhere on earth. There I find peace and tranquility, I let out my inner child and I find time to have a good me-time and reflect.

So in response to this prompt, the beach is officially a place for me to find comfort.

Sometimes, I love visiting the beach alone when I need a moment to myself and a means to shut out the noise. When I'm alone at the beach, I read novels, I stare around and admire nature or I listen to good music while building castles on the seashore.

I also take selfies with my mobile phone or sketch some designs for my brand's collection. It usually a good feeling, knowing I am enough for myself.

But, when I decide to visit the beach with friends, I do a lot more fun things like, racing, playing football, skipping, horse riding, telling jokes and stories, dancing or swimming.

Either ways, it's always a way to feel alive and rejuvenate and it brings me unexplainable joy.

Two weeks ago, I viisted the beach with some of my friends and we had a good time. We played like children and we felt at peace.

We ate to our fill, drank and just had the best moment of our lives. It was as though I shouldn't come back home to face another level of stress but life has to go on.

Although, I'm back to work I'm seeing hoping for another day set aside to unwind at that place that brings me true comfort and peace. The beach!
