I am "Anthony Gift Bala" from Kaduna State, Nigeria.

It is always hard and difficult expressing yourself when asked to than doing it voluntary. sometimes the best pains, love and happiness are expressed only if the need for it arises than been forced or act under pressure to do so.

Today i feel a total sense of wish and happiness to share about my self briefly covering who i am, what i do that reduce my pains and promotes my happiness, what i wish and plan to achive and what i faced to reach this section of my life.

I am Gift Anthony Bala, A Nigeria from Kaduna State. Sometimes am been called Amaya which is a tribal name meaning Gift. Although leaving in a society where people love been called by their native names for identification of tribe, i as a person love been called by my English name instead.

While growing up as a child, i do love the fact that females carrying wonderful hairstyle and the fact that good braids implements people's beauty, the urge and eagerness to make people look beautiful through their hairstyles was one thing that triggered me into knowing and learning how to braid, I didn't learn from anyone nor enrolled in any class it came naturally and I'm super proud of my skills.

A lot of hard work / efforts were put in and I'm grateful for how far I've gone as its beginning to show off. As a young girl, I got to understand that my desire for braiding was begining to affect my academic pursue which was a thing of concern for me. Regardless the concern I was having, I was blessed with wonderful siblings who supported me and made me to understand that I can still learn what I want and yet perfom and focus on my academics.

This prompted me to diverse a way to study and also to balance my academics with my persion. The guidiance has promted me to have a desire to pursue a degree in Economics and Development Studies at Federal University Kashere, Gombe State. During the process of balancing, I discover that my desire to write and recreate was becoming too obvious. The urge to read and devour books was so intense which prompted me to pay attention to writing. writing is really an amazing aspect of life that is mostly enjoyed by readers more than the writers.

Sometimes when it comes to writing, the brain and the fingers hardly come in agreement, but funny enough, that alone motivated me to pay more attention to writing and then I realize its fun and more relaxing cause I get to express myself freely.

Balancing my wishes and desires where so difficult that I do become sad and frustrated. Then I discovered that truly writing, singing and braiding where things that gave me joy and happiness.

My awareness about hive came from a very close friend of mine @sammimed. whenever i pay him a visit, he is mostly busy on sharing knowledge and also learning from this platform. Out of curiosity i asked and he explained a lot about hive. He also refered me to someone he respect and motivated him to join hive @ovey10. @ovey10 explained and gave me a more broader orientation on hive. The do (s) and don't of hive. What hive entails and what every begginer is expected to do in hive. Hearing everything from @sammimed and @ovey10, made me realize that this platform is where I should belong. A platform that I can share and also learn. A place that can help me grow by exploring and sharing my creativity. I also understand that consistency and dedication is a key to grow.

In summary, writing, braiding and singing are things I really love doing the most as a student pursuing greatness. As a new person to this hive Blockchain, I wish to dedicate myself by finding comfort and avenue to share my hobies here and to hope for positive growth and improvment Hopefully I anticipate I add value and learn from this platform.
