Goodbye Sammy. Today Was Hard.
Today was such a fucking challenge. I spent all day at the market and then the next five hours at Dove Lewis emergency pet clinic with my parents as we waited for a prognosis for their dog, Sammy, who was hit by a car this afternoon.
I would go into more detail, but frankly, I'm so emotionally tapped out right now, I can't even begin to go into it.
Sammy was 13 years old, and a really wonderful dog that my whole family loved. She will be sorely missed. We are heartbroken.
