Five Minute Freewrite: Not A Bad Guess
Emma boarded the long coaster bus to her new station. The road network looks nice. The government had given the road a big facelift which has made travelling along it a lot more easier - unlike what it was few years ago.
Emma noticed that a certain man - a passenger like her had been looking at her for many minutes. At first, Emma felt embarrassed but as the man kept looking at her she was forced to ask him what the problem was.
"Please are you Annie the newscaster", the man asked.
A surprised Emma simply answered in the negative.
The man continued, "okay, but are you somehow related to her?"
Emma, still looking at the man answered in the negative.
"Okay, well, you look like her, that's why I've been looking you".
"Really, well, not a bad guess but I am not her and I am not related to her, okay".
With that firm answers the man then turned his attention to other things. Emma observed him for sometime and then put her focus on the road once again.
She admired the landscape and the fruits and veggies being hawked along the road. She even enough a few of them. Soon they got to the bus stop and everyone alighted and went their various ways.
