¡Que tal amigos y amigas de HIVE! Lo prometido es deuda y aquí les traigo el primer capítulo del nuevo programa “Vamos Longhorns”. Un programa que habla de los partidos de fútbol americano de la Universidad de Texas en Austin.

La rivalidad del río rojo no solo es uno de los partidos más importantes en toda la historia del fútbol americano colegial, sino que también es una tradición para todos los tejanos y amantes al deporte de las tackleadas. Anualmente la ciudad de Dallas, Texas recibe en la Feria del Estado el partido entre Texas Longhorns y Oklahoma Sooners colocando como sede el mítico Cotton Bowl. La competitividad deportiva de ambas universidades es dividida geográficamente solo por el río rojo ubicado al norte de Texas y sur de Oklahoma. Estos dos programas juegan su enfrentamiento número 120 de la historia.

El día de hoy, les traigo un resumen y análisis de lo que sucedió en el partido que gana Texas. Lo mejor que demostró el equipo de Longhorns fue su fuerza defensiva dejando con cero anotaciones a los Sooners de Oklahoma, sin embargo, la ofensiva de Texas volvió tener a su mariscal de campo titular con el regreso de Quinn Ewers.

Hello friends of HIVE! As promised, here is the first episode of the new program “Vamos Longhorns”. A program that talks about the University of Texas at Austin football games.

The Red River Rivalry is not only one of the most important games in the history of college football, but it is also a tradition for all Texans and lovers of the sport of tackling. Annually, the city of Dallas, Texas receives in the State Fair the game between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners at the mythical Cotton Bowl. The sports competitiveness of both universities is geographically divided only by the Red River located north of Texas and south of Oklahoma. These two programs are playing their 120th matchup in history.

Today, I bring you a summary and analysis of what happened in the game won by Texas. The best thing the Longhorns showed was their defensive strength leaving the Oklahoma Sooners with zero touchdowns, however, the Texas offense had their starting quarterback back with the return of Quinn Ewers.
