I planted a SEED...

Or more exactly, I've bought 8.712 SEED.

SEED is a token of a project by some HIVE guy named @empoderat. A project is something like "a semi-private crypto-investment hedge fund": the funds from SEED sales go invested into other crypto-projects and thus the SEED hodlers grow richer, hopefully. More info about investment model can be found in this article.

The token is not traded at the open market, in order to get SEED one must send HBD or HIVE to a treasury account.

So, I learned about the project from some post somewhere. I gathered my liquid pennies, swapped them into 22 HIVE, sent them to the treasury, and received 8.712 SEED in return.

Actually, I don't expect to become a billionaire with an 8 bucks inwastement. Unless quite by chance I run into a Crypto Warren Buffet, of course.

And also I understand that SEED is a one-man show of a guy I know pretty little about. In other words, if @empoderat decides to take all the fund and walk away -- I can do very little about it.

"So why did you ape-ly YOLO-ed into it?", you might ask.

First -- just for fun. I think I paid 8 bucks for a ticket to a show, and I expect to get some fun out of it. Call it "gambling", if you will.

Second -- to run a "crypto-investment hedge fund" is the idea I've been thinking about myself, for several years already. But unfortunately, so far I've had neither brains, nor time, nor resources to start it. So I finally found a guy with a similar idea and aped into it.

I don't know if SEED is a good investment, I don't know if I will buy moar SEED or not.

But I do know I will have some fun for my 8 bucks!
