My weekend selections: 2 August 2025

I'm going to a concert this weekend, a small jazz ensemble playing at a little venue in the city. I'll meet some friends there, enjoy the show and chat over drinks. It's something I've been looking forward to all week and a good use of my weekend I think.

The weekend always seems to go by so fast and Monday arrives once again meaning the working week begins all over again. I don't mind too much because I enjoy my job but I'd much rather be listening to music and relaxing. If only the weekend went for seven days of the week.
