#1183 - Mount Pulag Shots for Tuesday.

A wonderful Tuesday to all my dearest Hive friends across the globe! Let us keep this positive momentum going. If you see a post that makes you smile or teaches you something new today, take a second to leave a nice comment, much better vote it 😉. Wishing everyone a smooth and truly fulfilling Tuesday. Keep up the great work, stay safe and enjoy the moment❤️!

Onto our daily shots with my wife, our friend Dandreb, two other companions and I were through the final assault to the summit of Mount Pulag in Kabayan, Benguet. By the time we reached the top, it was around 5AM. We made it just in time.

The temperature up here was easily around 10 degrees Celsius or even less but with the strong wind constantly blowing felt absolutely freezing. The wind ripped right through our multiple layers of jackets. We were all shivering as we tried to find a spot to sit on the grass. It was brutally cold but we knew we had to endure it for the scenic sunrise.

We huddled close together waiting in the cold breeze. We could hear the wind howling. Then, the magic began. A line of orange appeared on the horizon. As the minutes passed by, the sun started to peek over the edge.

When the sunlight finally broke through, the view was nothing short of breath taking. Below was a thick sea of low clouds hugging the Cordillera mountains that surround Pulag. It looked like a massive ocean frozen with only the peaks of the nearby mountains sticking out like small islands. The golden sunrise painted the clouds. The cold wind was still biting but we completely forgot about the freezing temperature.

We just stood here in awe, taking photos and digesting the breathtaking scenery. What an experience it was. Standing at the top of Luzon watching the sun rise over the sea of clouds, made every shiver and every exhausting step of the midnight trek absolutely worth it💪.
