Home alone but Definitely not lonely: How I spend my Sunday in a Farm slow living, time is a luxury.

Good day Hivers Community!
Its another Sunday, a day for the Lord and a day to lie low, relax, recharge, praise and Worship God, Get connected to Nature by going in a trail. And whatever it is that you want to do during Sundays. A family day for majority.

Today, my day is different. Since its a day to rest for all the farm workers. And My best friend and her husband went to Davao City- which is 4-5 hours away from the farm ( Thats where we actually live).
I am left alone but not lonely. So, I'm the one in charge!
Luckily I have Yoyo (uncle) who live in another area, is somehow with me. Lets say, his a kilometer away but still we are neighbors! That is how we are in a province. :)

My day, started with a coffe. Of course, My day is incomplete without a cups of coffee, while enjoying the view and praising the wonders of the earth God had given us.

After sipping my cup of coffee its time to grind. First on the list, is harvesting and packing our Oyster Mushroom. I was able to harvest 3 kilos today, Yesterday we harvested 10 kls and deliver it to the supplier at the Supermarket in one of the Malls.

Next in Line, is cook breakfast. Since I am alone, I'm gonna boil an Egg . Not just an Egg but an organic one. Its a perks of living in a farm, everything fresh from eggs, meats, vegetables, fruits, name it. So I collected a freshly lay egg where I took in the laying pens of the hens

After eating I put my dirty cloths to the washing machine. Do the house chores. Then head to the Goat's house.
It's now time to feed them.

Meet Franky, the Pure breed Anglonubian and Nanay too. And the rest of the group. Half native, half anglu. ( I will make a separate blog about my bonding time with these amazing ruminants)

After feeding them, I go back to the house. Sit on my favorite spot, just enjoy the wonders of the world and start writing.

Then , I felt thirsty. So I decided to get a piece of coconut to quench my thirst in this hot and sunny weather.

In the afternoon after my Nap.
I went back writing and notes.
As I write this blog and I listen to music while enjoying my time alone. No hustle and bustle away from unnecessary drama.

It took me a while to finish writing, and its time to prepare dinner.

So what I did is, I grilled outdoor. Right beside the table where I am writing. Its hitting 3 birds at the same time, To cook for dinner, the smoke drives away mosquitoes which is plenty around here, and I get to continue working. Smart working right? haha.

So, thats how I spend my weekend. How about you?

However you choose to spend your Sunday. I Hope you were able recharge. Ready for another week ahead.
