Painting Mirror Wall Side : Decorating my Room

Hey Beautiful People!❤️

I hope you're all doing amazing! For the past two weeks, I've been toying with the idea of decorating the wall in my room. I had so many ideas wondering around in my head, but I couldn't quite gather the courage to start painting. Well, yesterday I finally made up my mind! I grabbed my box of poster colors, pulled out my brushes, and just went for it.The idea for my design came from a picture, but I decided to put my own twist on it.

Painting Tree

I started by sketching the design with pencil just a rough outline to map out my vision. Once I was happy with it, I picked up a brush to trace over the pencil lines, but the black I intended came out grey! So, off to the store I went to grab the right shade of black. With fresh paint in hand, I traced over everything again and began adding roots, stems, and expanding the tree into a lovely, growing scene. 🌲

Painting Flowers

Now for the fun part adding the flowers! I mixed white and black to create a soft pink hue. It was a bit too dark at first, so I added more white until I got the perfect light pink. I painted soft pink flowers on the edges of the stems, making the whole picture feel vibrant and full of life. 🩷 These flowers really brought the whole piece together and gave it such a sweet, pleasing touch. 💐

To add a little extra flair, I glued small, colorful plastic flowers in the center of each painted flower, and it turned out beautifully Then, I used scotch tape to create fine lines, giving the illusion of a hanging nest in mid-air. After removing the tape, I sketched and painted the nest and swung in black, which ended up looking so delicate and pretty. 🦜

Pasting Sparoows

At this point, the tree was looking great, but I realized—what’s a tree without birds? 🕊️🐦 I rushed to the store, printed out a bunch of sparrow cutouts, carefully trimmed them, and pasted each one onto the tree, swing, and in the air as if they were flying. They blended in so well, it looked like I had hand-painted them myself!

I really hope you love it as much as I do. Thank you for joining me on this little creative journey. I’ll see you all in my next blog. Until then, take care and goodbye! 🕊️💐
