A lo largo de los años, muchas personas han llegado a Hive buscando una oportunidad para crear contenido, aprender algo nuevo o formar parte de una comunidad.

En ese camino, algunos nombres aparecen con frecuencia. Otros, en cambio, trabajan durante años detrás de proyectos, comunidades e iniciativas que ayudan a que el ecosistema siga creciendo, aunque su trabajo no siempre sea visible para todos.

Hoy queremos dedicar unas palabras a una de esas personas.

Greetings, community!

Over the years, many people have joined Hive looking for an opportunity to create content, learn something new, or become part of a community.

Along the way, some names appear frequently. Others, however, spend years working behind projects, communities, and initiatives that help the ecosystem continue to grow, even when their work is not always visible to everyone.

Today, we would like to dedicate a few words to one of those people.

Detrás de Aliento hay una historia de servicio:

Para quienes forman parte de la comunidad hispanohablante de Hive, el nombre de Hive account@eddiespino, conocido también como El Chico Hive les suena bastante, más aún porque está ligado a este proyecto, Aliento.

Sin embargo, reducir su trayectoria únicamente a ser el fundador del Proyecto Aliento sería quedarse corto.

Durante más de siete años, Eddie ha dedicado una parte importante de su tiempo a enseñar a otros sobre Hive y Web3, crear recursos educativos, responder preguntas, orientar a nuevos y no tan nuevos usuarios, acompañar a creadores, impulsar comunidades, curar contenido y contribuir al ecosistema como testigo de Hive.

Muchas de las personas que hoy continúan activas dentro de Hive llegaron gracias a una guía, una conversación, una recomendación o una oportunidad que encontraron a través de Aliento, y por supuesto de Eddie.

Behind Aliento, There Is a Story of Service:

For those who are part of Hive's Spanish-speaking community, the name Hive account@eddiespino—also known as The Hive Guy—is probably very familiar, especially because of his close connection to this project, Aliento.

However, reducing his journey to simply being the founder of Proyecto Aliento would not do justice to the full scope of his contributions.

For more than seven years, Eddie has dedicated a significant part of his time to teaching others about Hive and Web3, creating educational resources, answering questions, guiding both new and experienced users, supporting creators, strengthening communities, curating content, and contributing to the ecosystem as a Hive witness.

Many of the people who remain active on Hive today arrived here thanks to a guide, a conversation, a recommendation, or an opportunity they found through Aliento—and, of course, through Eddie.

El trabajo que no siempre se ve:

En ocasiones es fácil reconocer el trabajo que ocurre en eventos IRL, conferencias o espacios visibles para todos.

Pero también existen personas que construyen comunidad desde detrás de una pantalla, dedicando horas a resolver problemas, responder mensajes, orientar usuarios, conectar personas y ayudar a que otros puedan avanzar.

Gran parte de ese trabajo rara vez aparece en una fotografía, una presentación o una estadística. Sin embargo, es precisamente ese trabajo silencioso el que muchas veces sostiene comunidades enteras.

A lo largo de estos años, Eddie ha sido una de esas personas. No solo dentro de Hive o Web3. También fuera de ellos. Muchos miembros de la comunidad conocen historias de apoyo, orientación y ayuda brindada en momentos difíciles, sin buscar reconocimiento ni esperar algo a cambio.

Porque para algunas personas, construir comunidad nunca ha sido únicamente una actividad dentro de una blockchain. Ha sido una forma de relacionarse con los demás.

The Work That Isn't Always Seen

Sometimes it is easy to recognize the work that happens at IRL events, conferences, or in highly visible spaces.

But there are also people who build communities from behind a screen, dedicating countless hours to solving problems, answering messages, guiding users, connecting people, and helping others move forward.

Much of that work rarely appears in a photo, a presentation, or a statistic. Yet it is precisely that quiet, often unseen work that helps sustain entire communities.

Over the years, Eddie has been one of those people.
Not only within Hive or Web3, but beyond them as well.

Many community members know stories of support, guidance, and assistance he has provided during difficult times—without seeking recognition or expecting anything in return.
Because for some people, building community has never been just an activity within a blockchain.
It has been a way of connecting with others.

Cuando quien siempre ayuda necesita apoyo:

Durante las últimas semanas, Eddie ha atravesado una situación de salud que lo obligó a alejarse temporalmente de muchas de las actividades que realiza habitualmente. Afortunadamente, ha logrado superar la etapa más crítica de este proceso.

Sin embargo, como sucede en cualquier recuperación, sigue necesitando tiempo, tranquilidad y el apoyo de quienes valoran su trabajo y su trayectoria.

A lo largo de los años, Eddie ha trabajado no solo en proyectos como Hive account@aliento, Hive account@threespeak y Hive account@mantequilla-soft, si no muchos más. Ha contado con el respeto y respaldo de líderes, desarrolladores, creadores y miembros destacados de Hive. Personas como Hive account@theycallmedan (Dan), Hive account@starkerz (Matt) y otros colaboradores y líderes de proyectos que han reconocido el valor de su trabajo y sus contribuciones al ecosistema.

Pero más allá de cualquier nombre, creemos que el verdadero reconocimiento se encuentra en las personas que, de una u otra forma, han sido impactadas positivamente por lo que él ha construido durante todos estos años.

When the One Who Always Helps Needs Support:

Over the past few weeks, Eddie has been facing a health situation that required him to step away temporarily from many of the activities he normally carries out. >
Fortunately, he has overcome the most critical stage of this process.
However, as with any recovery, he still needs time, peace of mind, and the support of those who value his work and his journey.

Over the years, Eddie has worked not only on projects such as Hive account@aliento, Hive account@threespeak, and Hive account@mantequilla-soft, but on many others as well. He has earned the respect and support of leaders, developers, creators, and prominent members of the Hive ecosystem. People such as Hive account@theycallmedan (Dan), Hive account@starkerz (Matt), and many other contributors and project leaders have recognized the value of his work and his contributions to the ecosystem.

But beyond any individual name, we believe that the greatest recognition comes from the people whose lives have been positively impacted, in one way or another, by everything he has helped build throughout these years.

Una palabra de aliento:

En Proyecto Aliento creemos que las comunidades se construyen en los buenos momentos, pero también en los momentos difíciles.

Por eso como Team, queremos invitar a quienes leen esta publicación a dejar un mensaje, una palabra de ánimo o una muestra de apoyo para Eddie.

Quizás llegaste a Hive gracias a una guía. Quizás resolviste una duda gracias a una conversación. Quizás encontraste una oportunidad a través de Aliento o quizás simplemente valoras el trabajo constante de quienes dedican años de su vida a construir espacios para otros.

Sea cual sea tu historia, hoy queremos abrir este espacio para agradecer. Porque detrás de cada proyecto hay personas.

Hoy queremos devolverle, aunque sea en una pequeña medida, parte de ese apoyo.
