¡Vuela alto Poeta Lecumberre! - Actualización [ESP-ENG]

Hace más de 2 meses, iniciamos la campaña llamada Juntos Por Lecumberre, donde muchos de ustedes se sumaron para ayudar al Poeta Hive account@lecumberre. Él estuvo muy agradecido siempre y con cariño recibió cada muestra de bondad demostrada por la comunidad que hace vida en Hive y que con sus aportes y oraciones, le mostraron solidaridad en tiempos difíciles, donde la enfermedad hizo eco en su cuerpo.

Landis Alvarez Lecumberre, este 15 de Agosto dejó este plano terrenal y como proyecto sentimos el pesar de su lamentable partida. Cuando comenzamos a brindarle apoyo y conocimos su historia, sabíamos que este día podía llegar por lo avanzado y la gravedad de su enfermedad (Cáncer de Próstata, el cual había hecho Metástasis), pero nunca esperamos que fuera tan pronto. De nuestro equipo, Hive account@elizabeths14 estuvo en contacto directo con él durante todo este proceso y tiempo, por ende estaba al tanto de sus dolencias y momentos difíciles.

Lecumberre nos deja una gran lección, ya que hasta su último día de vida siguió activo dentro del ecosistema, demostrando su ganas de seguir luchando por vivir. Eso sin duda es admirable.

More than two months ago, we launched the campaign called "Together for Lecumberre," where many of you joined to help the poet Hive account@lecumberre. He was always very grateful and lovingly received every act of kindness demonstrated by the Hive community, which, through their contributions and prayers, showed solidarity during difficult times when illness took a toll on his body.

Landis Alvarez Lecumberre passed away from this earthly plane on August 15, and as a project, we feel the sorrow of his unfortunate departure. When we started supporting him and learned his story, we knew this day could come due to the advanced and severe nature of his illness (prostate cancer with metastasis), but we never expected it to be so soon. From our team, Hive account@elizabeths14 was in direct contact with him throughout this process and time, and thus was aware of his pains and difficult moments.

Lecumberre leaves us with a great lesson, as he remained active within the ecosystem until his last day, showing his will to continue fighting for life. That is undoubtedly admirable.

También queremos dejar algunas actualizaciones sobre su caso, estás iban a ser publicadas antes de esta inesperada noticia. Hace 15 días Lecumberre nos contactó por un medicamento de urgencia que necesitaba para su tratamiento contra el cáncer. El medicamento era bastante costoso, pero gracias a las donaciones que algunos realizaron a esta cuenta de Hive account@aliento.aid la cual es sin fines de lucro y gracias a algunas recompensas obtenidas antes, logramos darle hace 10 días un aporte de 100 HBD para que cubriera parte del costo de la medicina que necesitaba, la cual logró obtener el sábado pasado.

Aprovechamos la oportunidad, para hacer llegar nuestras más sinceras condolencias a todos los que de alguna u otra forma pudieron conocer al señor Lecumberre, en especial a sus familiares, amigos y a la señora Francisca, que fue quien cuidó de él durante todo este tiempo.

We also want to provide some updates on his case, which were intended to be published before this unexpected news. Fifteen days ago, Lecumberre contacted us for an urgent medication needed for his cancer treatment. The medication was quite expensive, but thanks to donations made to the Hive account@aliento.aid account, which is non-profit, and some rewards received earlier, we were able to provide him with a contribution of 100 HBD ten days ago to cover the cost of the medication he needed, which he managed to obtain last Saturday.

We take this opportunity to extend our most sincere condolences to everyone who had the chance to know Mr. Lecumberre in one way or another, especially to his family, friends, and Mrs. Francisca, who took care of him throughout this time.
