Redemption
“Is this enough?” Sweets spilled from Ralph’s arms.
Leona paced the shop. “I think so, Daddy. Maybe one more...”
A bottle of whiskey caught Ralph’s attention. Four months clean. He licked his lips.
“Daddy? We’re done!”
He looked at the sweets. It was too much to throw away.
“Coming, pumpkin.”
