Wanderlust - Purple Mountain

A couple of days ago I went out hiking. The location, Purple Mountain in the Mcguillycuddy Reeks in Killarney in Ireland. Being only an hour from where i live it was the perfect place for a day out hiking.
Its not a long hike we were up and down in 4 hours with plenty time to get pictures and a break on top to have a bite to eat and take in the magnificent views.
The hike started from deep in the Gap of Dunloe a tourist hotspot here in Ireland.
From there it was an hour and a halves hike steadily climbing up to just over 800 metres above sea level passing a lake half way up the mountain, a perfect place to take a dip to refresh.
