Week 14 response: Do political entrepreneurs still exist?

Are political entrepreneurs on the rise while market entrepreneurs are on the decline?
I believe that political entrepreneurs in the original context of their origin, are on the decline, if not almost non-existent. While researching political entrepreneurs, I kept trying to find examples of modern-day political entrepreneurs. I wasn't able to find companies that were exactly political entrepreneurs. However, companies such as Boeing earn a majority of their revenue from the government. Companies such as Boeing however have competitive dealing with other companies for government projects. This differs from the original idea of a political entrepreneur who has little to no competition for government subsidies. I also believe that market entrepreneurs are on the decline. In recent years, competition has been on the decline because small businesses are unable to compete with corporations. So as a few select companies are growing to exponential sizes, the ability for new market entrepreneurs to enter a market decreases. These few select corporations have also begun to intervene in the political sphere. Corporations such as Google, Meta, and Amazon have contributed millions of dollars to lobbying and political donations. Their influence on politics may allow for legislation to be passed in their favor, and government policies to benefit corporations. This would be similar to political entrepreneurs who have an influence on government policy and also benefit from said policies.
