SIERRA DE LA CULATA
Ubicado entre los Estados Mérida y Trujillo, en el ramal nor-oriental de la Sierra de Mérida. se encuentra el Parque Nacional Sierra de la Culata.
Existen más de 200 lagunas glaciares, el frío es de alta montaña, la temperatura puede variar desde 22 °C hasta 0 °C.
