Excursion to the Zanardo nature trail in Sedico, Belluno, Italy

A few weeks ago I decided to organize an excursion with a friend of mine from Sedico (BL). I don't know that area but I know that there are many interesting excursions. The town is surrounded by mountains and crossing it by car I have a feeling of well-being that pervades me.

The path begins near the small village of San Gottardo. You can park your car near the church and start walking along the downhill asphalt road that leads to a beautiful view of the Cornale river. From here the beauty begins: wonderful views of wide meadows and mountains, the view of the river, the enclosures with the horses of the Forestry Carabinieri and then a stream and a wonderful waterfall. I made a short video, I hope it gives you an idea of ​​how beautiful this wonderful place is, also suitable for children and strollers. Good vision!

Qualche settimana fa ho deciso di organizzare un’escursione con una mia amica nativa di Sedico (BL). Non conosco quella zona però so che ci sono molte escursioni interessanti. Il paese é circondato da montagne e attraversandolo con l’auto ho una sensazione di benessere che mi pervade.

Il sentiero inizia nei pressi del piccolo borgo di San Gottardo. Si può parcheggiare l’auto vicino alla chiesa e iniziare a camminare lungo la strada asfaltata in discesa che porta ad una bella visuale del fiume Cornale. Da qui inizia il bello: panormai stupendi su ampi prati e montagne, la vista sul fiume, i recinti con i cavalli del corpo dei Carabinieri della Forestale e poi una torrenti e una cascata meravigliosa.
