Waiting at the station ...

I thought I had arrived early, but I might have come here late
I may have missed the train, or it might be on its way -
but I've been waiting at this station, all this long hot summers day
Waiting at the station for a train to come my way.

The sun fell from the sky, and the moon rose high above
The longer I would wait, the more I missed my love.
I will wait another day, and a night if needs to be
By the next day I'll be breathless for worry not to see.
