Wednesday is a day for walking.

I haven't written anything here for 2 weeks. The circumstances were such that I had to dive deep into my work. I won't say I was happy about it, but it was a big necessity.
Today I decided to tell you about my walk this week to the lake near the Titanic. The birds were my target.
The walk started from the bridge over the Vyatka River.
It's raining on the left bank of the river, but it shouldn't come to my right bank, the river shouldn't let it pass. Those were my thoughts. But I still put on a jacket just in case. And I was right. The rain managed to penetrate from the other side to the lake.



The rain came, but it was not very strong. But the rainbow pleased me with its appearance. This is the first time I've seen her in this place. I was in a hurry to get out to a clean place to take a photo, but the rainbow disappeared quickly and I was left without a photo of a rainbow on the background of a lake.






Here I was enthusiastically walking and watching the footage in the camera, and suddenly a hefty shepherd dog jumped out at me, which its owner was trying to keep on a leash. It was very unexpected that I even cried out a little because of it.
I took the photo on the way back. At the moment of meeting with the dog, I had no time to think about anything but how to get away. I must say that walking along a forest path, I also met a girl with a dog. But that was another story.



What is this bush? Who is the expert? I do not know the name.



Friends, and here are the consequences of the rain. Dry spots on the asphalt show that it didn't rain for very long, literally 5 minutes.



And here is the purpose of my hike. I've been wanting to photograph this duck up close for a long time.
Oh, she's such a great diver! It seems to me that she swims 15 meters or more underwater and does it very quickly.
Great-crested grebe. I hope I named this duck correctly.
