Tiger Grass !
Tiger grass is commonly cultivated in hill area of Nepal. As we all used brooms in our house the hand-held grass broom is widely used in Nepal. These brooms are made from flowering spikes of Tiger Grass ( Thysanolaena Latifolia ). Locally we call it Amliso or Amriso. This is a good source of income for some Nepalese farmers. Here are few photos of Tiger grass today.
