This unique next generation home monitoring system unlike other home security systems does not rely on cameras to detect movements or disturbance, instead uses wireless signals (2.4GHz) to form a sort of wireless perimeter of elliptical shape which when disturbed, sends an alert to the homeowner's phone already integrated with the system about the disturbance and the time of occurrence. The system's wireless signal is similar to WiFi and it comes with two hardware devices that are positioned about 15 meters apart from each other.

What I like about Aura

• It is easy to set up.
• It works without being plugged in, and the battery life of the hardware when not plugged in lasts quite long enough.
• Can be integrated with mobile devices by downloading the Aura mobile app and creating an account is easy.
• It gives a good insight into the activities happening in the home via the mobile app integration.

Price: US $199

I feel its quite expensive though, but worth it due to its portability.
