British Central Bank Governor Banned Bitcoin So Currency

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Bitcoin is considered a failure as a currency measured by reference or standard benchmark. The Governor of the Bank of England (BoE) Mark Carney revealed that bitcoin is not a storage value or a useful way to buy something.

"So far (Bitcoin) has failed more, on the traditional aspects of money.This is not a store of value because it is so unfocused and inconsistent.No one uses it as a medium of exchange," Carney told students at Regent University London as quoted from Between, Tuesday (20/2).

However, the underlying crypto-currency technology may still be useful as a way to verify transactions
