During another, completely unrelated photoshoot a few weeks ago, I spotted this duck enjoying some questionable looking puddle water right next to a cleaner damn. Of course, me being who I am, I just had to get some fun shots of this fascinated creature!
This little duck wasn’t worried about where the puddle came from or how unsanitary and gross it may have been. It just dove in, flapping its wings, flicking water everywhere, and having what I can only describe as a full-blown spa day. He was having the time of his life while another duck-friend watched curiously from the sidelines.
So here’s to puddle baths, surprise smiles, and the simple, splashy joys that show up when you’re paying attention.
