A bride in bloom🌸

Radiant beauty and love in bloom - A gorgeous flower bride overflowing with joy! Soft petals dancing in the breeze, laughter echoing through flower fields. The gloomy weather a stark contrast to the joyful emotions and love-filled hearts.

One of the best times of the year here in South Africa (In my personal opinion) is when the cosmos flowers begin to bloom - not only because it is around my birthday in late March when they often pop up but also, they are just so delicate and add a soft beauty to the world as we edge into Autumn.

A couple weeks ago I had the absolute joy of photographing a gorgeous friend in a field of cosmos. We created a styled shoot together and she was over the moon to put on her wedding dress again for this special shoot. It was the perfect pairing, a gorgeous, delicate bride mixed in with the soft cosmos flowers.

I loved the combination of the delicate lace of the wedding dress train and the delicate pink and white flowers blooming all around.

I wanted to share some of my favourite close-up detail shots that I captured on the day! I love little details and these photos are some of my favourites that bring me so much joy!

Isn't a flower just the most perfect resting place for a brides wedding rings?🌸 Almost like it was made for a fairy.

Days like these are so much fun as I get to allow my creative juices to flow. In these casual styled shoot settings I find myself far more relaxed and it becomes easier to explore poses and angles as appose to when I am shooting a real wedding.
