THE QUEST
Hola #hive @onchainart , I havent been posted in months, Was a littel busy moving to a new country for my new job in the gaming industry, But luckily now everything is settled, I will do my best to post more often ^^ , For sure i been missing creating arts !
Eversince i switched to the gaming industry i had to learn new softwares such as Unreal Engine, Working with new tools can always be difficult at first, but the learning process always takes time as i had to step out of my comfort zone as all my career life i had to work with Autodesk Maya, But new starts requires new tools and its been super fun And i am happy to share my first artwork using UE5
The Quest, Is a new project i am working on, Creating detailed levels with some adventure artworks creating concepts and idea's for games, I got inspired to do this after playing Horizon and my goal is to create big open world's and levels that can be playable.
Scene breakdown
I started building my scene using the bridge between Unreal engine and Quixel megascans, a powerful tool creating models and realistic environments, what i love about this that its more of playing with Lego, You can build your level piece by piece, Creating any set dress or layout needed, So i wanted to create something dramatic, A deep cave with cold feel, A blue fog haze coming inside, Too dark but just a littel bit of light showing the hero and give a chill vibe .
Lighting
I kept the lights minimal as i wanted to keep a dramatic scary mood, Focuing only on the hero and show a little bit of the cave
Its good to be back on Hive :D , Let me know if you like this artwork ! and i look forward sharing more artworks in the future ^^
