ClimateStrike Gets Celebrity Support
A long list of celebrities are supporting ClimateStrike organized by climate change activists led by the Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg. Leonardo DiCaprio wants his fans to join the Climate Strike.
The Academy Award-winning actor and environmentalist shared an Instagram post today from the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC), a New York City-based environmental advocacy group.
“On Friday, September 20, NRDC is following the lead of young climate leaders like @GretaThunberg and others, and striking for #climateaction,” the post reads.
Chris Hemsworth, Kerry Washington & many more A-Listers are also following 16-year-old Greta Thunberg's lead by demanding action on global warming!
The movement has picked massively and building up to the climax on Monday at United Nations in New York.
