Not gonna lie, Glimpse of Us by Joji hit me way harder than I expected. The first time I heard it, I was just chilling late at night, and then boom—instant gut punch. It’s that feeling of trying to move on, trying to be happy, but your heart is still stuck somewhere else… with someone else.

We’ve all had that person who lingers in the back of our mind, right? Even when everything looks perfect on the outside, there’s that quiet comparison, those little flashes where your heart whispers someone else’s name. That’s what this song captured for me so raw, so real.

Singing it for this week’s VIBES competition felt almost therapeutic. Like, finally putting voice to something I hadn’t really said out loud. It’s not just about heartbreak, it’s about memory, and how sometimes the past can sneak into your present without warning.
