So, well, I guess all bullshit-meters should explode when someone combines social media and blockchain in a cloud hosted system, right? Well, same has been said for a lot of technologies - some faded, some stayed. Since steemit is free at the moment I don't see a reason why I shouldn't at least take a look what possibilities and shortcomings one awaits. One of the latter already showed itself: Blockchains are still slower than centralized or federated systems.
