Almost Lost My Hive Account!
Hey friends, so two months ago, I decided to link my Hive account to my Ledger wallet using this site: HiveLedger.Io . At the end of setting it up, a pop-up showed three checkboxes for my wallet keys, ownser, active, and posting. I didn’t really pay attention and just hit ‘Next’ without checking Active or Posting.
Turns out, that mistake replaced my Hive account’s Active and Posting keys with new ones that Ledger secretly creates and stores inside the device, meaning I couldn’t access them at all! After three days of searching, I gave up and was feeling super desperate.
But today, I decided to give it another shot and found a solution in the Engrave Discord. The admin there shared this guide that actually fixes the issue very easily:
