Aaron Donald 2014 Leaf Draft Card

Honestly, I am not usually too thrilled to receive college football cards. Would much rather have pro sports cards. But there's always exceptions. Aaron Donald is certainly an exception. I loved watching him play in the NFL, just rag-dolling offensive lineman for a decade. He's possibly the greatest defensive player in NFL history! Ten years played, ten Pro Bowls! Eight First Team All-Pro selections! Of course he was a massive part of winning a Super Bowl with the Rams in the 2021-2022 season. It's only a matter of time until he's in the Hall of Fame.

Solid card that I'm glad to have, those Pittsburgh uniforms were classy I tell ya!

As this card states, Donald had quite a decorated college career too, especially his senior season. Including those awards the card mentions, he also won the Bronko Nagurski award which honors the best college football player in the nation. In fact, twelve years ago today he received his award in Charlotte, North Carolina!

All in all, Aaron Donald is one of my favorite players ever and I know I am not alone there. The guy basically had a videogame-like career. Even that doesn't do his career justice though. It would be hard to record those numbers even in Madden! If only the Titans had drafted him LOL.
